In order to make preparations for the upcoming elections for the Womens wing, the President of MNP along with the party’s team visited Faafu Nilandhoo and Dhaalu Meedhoo on Saturday 27th February. 

They decided to have a candidate to represent MNP, and one candidate from each island has applied for the primary elections. 

The candidates that have applied are: 

•  Faafu nilandhoo, for a seat in the women’s wing: F. Nimandhoo Kenereege Aage, Khadheeja Ali
•  Dhaalu Meedhoo, for a seat in the women’s wing: Dh. Meedhoo, Dazyge, Shu’ula Waheed 

The campaign went on for two days for which some of the attendees included the President of MNP Colonel Mohamed Nazim, Vice President Abdulla Riyash along with several council members. Several activities and events were conducted in both of these islands to ensure that the party’s team has met as many people as possible. And plans have also been made to open campaign offices on both of the islands.
